We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing neurorehabilitation team at our newly established outpatient clinic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  
Patient Care
  • Perform comprehensive neurological physical therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice
  • Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions targeting:
    • Endurance
    • Speed
    • Strength
    • Weight support
    • Dynamic balance
    • Gross and Fine Motor Skills
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly

Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Complete evaluations and progress reports within required timeframes
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with physical therapy team including PTAs and PT Aides/Rehab Techs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding goals, progress, and home exercise programs
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning
Education & Mentorship
  • Supervise and mentor PT Assistants, PT Aides/Rehab Techs
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and fall prevention
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in neurorehabilitation
Qualifications
Required
  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Texas Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of neurological conditions including:
    • Stroke / CVA
    • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
    • Parkinson's Disease
    • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
    • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
  • 2-3+ years of experience in neurological or neurorehabilitation physical therapy
Preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in neurological or neurorehabilitation physical therapy
  • Experience with standard outcome measures 
  • Experience with robotic neurorehabilitation devices
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
  • Bilingual

Location & Schedule
  • Setting: Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Clinic in the Houston Museum District
  • Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday (flexible scheduling available)
  • Patient Load: Low
